Parimala and Co is a family-centric comedy thriller that attempts to package a serious social issue within an entertaining framework. Narrative Structure – Where It Falters

The story begins as a light-hearted middle-class family drama before transitioning into a murder mystery. The disappearance of normalcy after Sandy’s death creates intrigue, and the investigation keeps the audience engaged for a while.

However, the screenplay occasionally loses focus. Numerous supporting characters and side tracks divert attention from the central mystery, causing the middle portions to feel stretched. While the suspense remains intact, the narrative could have benefited from tighter writing and fewer distractions.

Jayaram & Urvashi

The biggest strength of the film. Their chemistry feels effortless, and their comic timing elevates several scenes. They perfectly embody a relatable middle-class couple navigating an unexpected crisis.

Mysskin

Mysskin delivers one of the film’s most memorable performances. What initially appears to be a conventional police officer role gradually develops into a much more interesting character arc, culminating in a strong payoff.

Sandy

Sandy surprises with a convincing performance as the troublesome local rowdy. His portrayal effectively drives the conflict and gives the narrative its central mystery.

Sanjana Krishnamoorthy & Ananthika Sanilkumar

Both actresses bring authenticity to their roles and effectively represent today’s young generation. Their performances add freshness to the family setup.
