Prabhudheva now focusing on his career as an actor and has signed a handful of films since then. The choreographer-turned-actor will be seen in a family drama with horror elements next. The film will be directed by Akash Sam, a short filmmaker who is making his feature film debut.
“Even though the film has horror element, it is not going to be yet another horror film and will be more of an intense family drama. The story is set in a hill station and Prabhudheva plays a botanist. It will be a unique character for him, different from what he has done so far,” says Akash.
The film will go on floors tomorrow (December 29), with a puja and a three-day shoot in Mysore. Rams, who played the role of the father in Aramm, will be seen in a crucial role and scenes involving him and Prabhudheva will be shot during these three days.
“We are yet to finalise most of the cast and the crew, including the heroine and the music director. We will be taking a 20-day break following this initial schedule and that is when we will be firming up these names,” informs Akash.
Vishnu Ramakrishnan, a 20-year-old, has been roped in to handle the cinematography.
